Assignment 1 (Format : Poster)

I previously attended a career development seminar given by both Encik Habib and a representative from PPG Company, which focused on managing the changing landscape of our particular professions and supporting personal and professional growth. The presentation left me with numerous major insights.

  1. They highlighted the significance of ongoing education in today's fast-paced environment. The idea that remaining relevant demands dedication to continual education strikes an understanding with me.
  2. Networking was another major theme. They also stressed the importance of making genuine connections and applying professional connections for advancement in your career. The necessity of an established professional connection became increasingly obvious.
  3. The presentation also discussed the importance of flexibility and endurance. They presented experiences on overcoming obstacles and how adopting change may give rise to growth in both one's life and work.
The lessons offered by both distinguished speakers caused me to ponder on my own professional trajectory. I became aware that my comfort zone was limiting my advancement, and that I needed to go out and seek out fresh possibilities and challenges.

Assignment 2 (Format : Video)

I was given the opportunity to visit UTM Digital, an inspiring IT tech services, and the trip was both eye-opening and informative. The tour helped me gain a better grasp of the fundamentals of the IT sector and gave me with great insights.

Flexibility and Ongoing Learning: During my time there, I noticed how quickly the IT business moves. Teams were continuously adapting to new difficulties and promoting a culture of continual learning. Employees demonstrated a strong desire to stay informed on the latest technology and processes.

Personal Analysis: This visit has fueled my desire to pursue a profession in information technology. The exposure to creative tasks, collaborative culture, and the connection of art and technology has motivated my determination to keep updated with industry trends and continuously improve my abilities.

Upcoming Priorities: As an outcome of this learning curve, I'm thinking of taking further classes and obtaining certifications in specific IT areas that are relevant to the industry's focus.

This will equip me to make major contributions to the field in years to come. In a nutshell, this trip to the IT industry was a rewarding experience that gave me with key insights into the business's dynamics. I'm enthusiastic about the possibilities in the industry and encouraged to seek a profession that reflects the ideals and breakthroughs I saw during my visit.

Assignment 3 (Format : Report)

Attending the last of IT sector speak during my semester 1 was a life-changing experience that shifted my outlook on this academic wording. The perspectives gathered from industry professionals underlined the crucial importance of practical implementation over theoretical knowledge.

In general, the IT industry discussion revived my commitment to problem-solving, adaptability, and continual learning in my academic writing, ensuring that my work is relevant to the ever-changing landscape of the IT sector.

Assignment 4 (Format : Technical Paper IEEE Format)

Seeing major players in the IT sector like Huawei and Petronas was an eye-opening experience that went beyond the classroom. Experiencing these firms' dynamic work environments allowed me to see directly how the ideas we study in academia are used in real-world situations, in addition to showcasing their enormous scale and technological capability.

Observing Petronas' assimilation of state-of-the-art technology for effective handling of resources and Huawei's inventiveness in networking and telecommunications gave me a profound understanding of the nexus between theory and practical application.

The experience was a helpful reminder that academic undertakings shouldn't be pursued in a bubble; rather, they should aim to support and enhance the innovative and forward-thinking cultures of prominent members of the business.

Design Thinking

The low-fidelity prototype created by fellow student during IT course has motivated me to consider the tangible influence of theoretical knowledge in practical application.

The student's prototype displayed not only technical abilities, but also a thorough awareness of user demands and the progressive nature of the design process. This experience has taught me the importance of experiential learning in IT education, which encourages students to interact directly with the tools and processes routinely used in industry.

It serves as a reminder that, beyond theoretical debates, the ability to transfer ideas into actual prototypes is an essential talent for aspiring IT workers, bridging the gap between academic knowledge and practical skills.

PC Assemble

Right before my mid-semester break, we were granted the opportunity to assemble a computer component. One of the training's main attractions was learning about each of the different elements of a computer system.

From the motherboard and CPU to the graphics card, RAM, and storage devices, I obtained a thorough understanding of how these components work together to form one integrated computer unit. The visual and sensory investigation of each component increased my respect for the complexity of today's computers.

In short, the PC assembly workshop was a transforming experience that not only provided me with practical skills but also increased my respect for the intricate details of computer technology. The knowledge obtained and difficulties faced during the class will undoubtedly influence my way of thinking about technology in the future.
